Local organizations can connect community concerns with wider conversations about rights. A public record of that connection appears in the Centre for Equality and Justice and Equality Now shadow report prepared for Sri Lanka’s ninth periodic review at the CEDAW Committee’s 90th session, held from 3 to 21 February 2025.

LightUp Lanka appears in the report’s list of supporting organizations. The submitting organizations are CEJ and Equality Now. The listing records LightUp Lanka’s support alongside other civil-society organizations.

The report addresses technology-facilitated sexual and gender-based violence. Digital safety, gender equality, leadership and the protection of women, children and youth also form part of the focus described in LightUp Lanka’s 3ZERO House member profile.

The linked document lets readers inspect the supporter list and the report’s full context. For LightUp Lanka’s current activities and participation opportunities, contact the local secretariat.
