On 8 March 2024, LightUp Lanka partnered with the Light of Island Community Service Center to conduct a Preschool Nutrition Awareness Program at Ehamparam & Sathasivam Hall, School Road, Velanai-7.
Facilitated by Dinoja Navarathnarajah and the LightUp Lanka team, the workshop brought together preschool mothers, caregivers and young children to discuss early childhood nutritional needs and featured a live demonstration on preparing a balanced, affordable one-dish healthy meal using locally available ingredients.
