From 5 to 8 December 2025, LightUp Lanka joined forces with the University of Jaffna – Thenmaradchi Student Union and the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (Kilinochchi Branch) to reach flood-isolated communities across five Grama Niladhari (GN) divisions in Visuvamadu, Mullaitivu District, including delivering 15 dry ration packages in Visuvamadu Manikkapuram and 10 packages in Visuvamadu Ilangopuram.
On 8 December 2025, responding to an urgent request from Abiramy Elder’s Home, LightUp Lanka visited Vallupunam (Puthukudiyiruppu) and handed over comprehensive emergency medical and hygiene care packs—each worth over Rs. 7,000 and containing adult diapers, Dettol, sterile gauze, cotton, ointment and bedsheets—to 6 bed-ridden elders.
