The LightUp Leaders Youth Leadership Program is designed to nurture confident, compassionate and socially responsible young leaders across the Northern Province. Through interactive games, group challenges and reflective dialogue, participants build practical skills in public speaking, active listening, teamwork, critical problem-solving and emotional intelligence.
On 29 January 2026, LightUp Lanka delivered a full-day LightUp Leaders workshop for children and youth at the Good Shepherd Child Development Center in Mankulam, Mullaitivu District, creating a supportive space for young people to discover their leadership potential and voice.
We also celebrate holistic youth expression through annual cultural and talent showcases, including our Thaipongal celebrations with children at Olirum Vazhvu Children’s Home in Udaiyarkaddu in collaboration with 3ZERO House Sri Lanka.
